CrossFirst Announces Plans to Acquire Farmers & Stockmens Bank; Stinson Serves as Legal Counsel
CrossFirst Bankshares Inc., based in Leawood, Kansas, recently announced it has entered into an agreement in which its bank subsidiary, CrossFirst Bank, will acquire Farmers & Stockmens Bank. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2022. Stinson served as legal counsel to CrossFirst.
The transaction will widen the scope of the CrossFirst franchise, with existing banking locations in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri, and Arizona, and adding in the Denver, Colorado Springs and New Mexico branches of Farmers & Stockmens Bank.
Stinson attorneys involved in the matter include Scott Gootee, Greg Johnson and Bob Monroe.
