Bankruptcy Litigator Brad Jones Joins Stinson in DC

Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Bradley D. Jones to the firm's Washington, DC office. Jones joins the firm as a partner in its Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Division.

Jones is an experienced trial attorney with a practice focused on bankruptcy litigation spanning a variety of industries and business sizes. He litigates fraudulent transfer and preference actions, in addition to other recovery disputes. Jones regularly appears before U.S. bankruptcy courts and defends appeals to federal district and appellate courts. He also represents parties in commercial disputes outside of bankruptcy.

"Brad is a very measured and a careful attorney," Stinson's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Practice Division Co-Chair Marc Albert said. "He has broad experience in bankruptcy, having served at the U.S. Trustee Office and in private practice, and has a proven track record in representing creditors, debtors and trustees. He will be a phenomenal addition to the firm and to our bankruptcy bench."

Jones is an appointed Chapter 11 Trustee. He has represented creditors, debtors and trustees in business Chapter 7 cases and Chapter 11 cases involving small business government contracts. He's served as counsel of record in over 650 bankruptcy cases involving health care, commercial real estate and internet technology matters. He also has experience handling white collar criminal prosecutions involving bankruptcy.

Jones maintains an active pro bono practice and serves on the amicus committee of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees.

Jones is admitted only in Virginia; Supervised by Marc Albert, a member of the DC Bar.
