Morgan's practice focuses on intellectual property law, including patent preparation and prosecution throughout the U.S. and worldwide.

Overview

Clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences fields benefit from Morgan's background in chemical engineering. He works to secure patent protection in numerous chemical technology areas such as agricultural and industrial chemistry, chemical engineering designs, mining, extraction, and filtration processes, renewable energy and low-carbon energy production, functional plating applications, catalysis and animal health. Morgan works directly with companies on how best to protect and commercialize their intellectual property rights and avoid infringing the rights of others. Additionally, he prepares freedom to operate opinions and patentability assessments.

Morgan utilizes his experience protecting intellectual property rights to provide valuable insights during M&A due diligence with respect to intellectual property ownership and agreements.
